Retreats
Sometimes the best thing we can do is immerse ourselves in an experience.
Embracing the Unkown: A womens Surf Clinic
-
Embracing the Unknown is a one-day women’s surf and yoga event designed to reconnect you with your strength, serenity, and sisterhood amid life’s uncertainties. Spend the day with Kate Fox (surf) and Arielle Beauduy (yoga) as we expand our comfort zones: riding waves and feeling the ocean, then integrate through yoga and sound healing.
Whether you are new to surfing or are seeking a deeper connection with it, this immersive day offers a supportive space to push boundaries, release tension, and come back to center.
Wave Alchemy Women’s Surf Camp
August 7-10 2026
Come join Kate Fox of Wave Alchemy Surf and Lisa Alfano of Ageless Adventures for a women’s surf immersion experience in Newport, the heart of Oregon’s surf scene.
More and more these days, women of all walks of life and all ages are claiming their time in the ocean on their own terms. This weekend is for you: to explore your own unique relationship with the sea within the container of a supportive community. We will make the most of these longs summer days, surfing, walking, stretching, connecting, and warming up in our hot tub! Our gorgeous weekend house is near Yaquina Head Lighthouse, multiple surf breaks, and walking distance to the beach.
Whether you are new to surfing or have been at it for a while, this is a space to show up exactly as you are.

Lisa Alfano
At age 50, Lisa found salvation in triathlon, which gave her a sense of community and turned her life around. At age 57, she gave herself another midlife boost by taking up surfing, which she says brings her “joy and peace no matter what is happening". Lisa believes there is something truly powerful about being surrounded by a community of women in and out of the water — the energy, the joy, the community and connection. Everything we do is in community and support of each other to actively engage our muscles, mind, heart & soul.
Lisa's love of travel and adventure has her living part time in Portland, OR and part time in Encinitas, CA and part time wherever the warmth and surf find her.
